Kenya is Africa’s leading beach destination

Kenya has been named Africa’s top beach destination for 2024.
The Diani Beach, south of Mombasa, Kenya, took the award at the 2024 World Travel Awards in the Philippines.
Kenya beat contenders including Mozambique, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, and Egypt to win the award for the second year running.
In previous years, Zanzibar, Tanzania, and Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, were recognised as Africa’s top beach destinations.
This year’s event was held in Manila, Philippines, at the City of Dreams.
