Fatima Zahraa Mahidoun, a Moroccan professor has been globally recognized for her efforts towards improving education and promoting education in Morocco.

Her school Aracheya School, was crowned with the Global Education Awards 2023 in India.

Fatima is the first from Larache, a city in northwestern Morocco to have won the prestigious award in 2023.

Her contributions towards transforming education in Morocco not only has earned her admiration worldwide, but has lifted her image and inspired others globally to do more.

Fatima uses innovative and creative educational methods to teach and instill the love of science into her students.

Through her work, according to Moroccan news outlet Alalam, many students in the country have gained substantive skills.

Her achievement also serves as motivation for teachers within and beyond the borders of Morocco.
