Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn will pay a visit to China from November 13 to 17, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Thursday, the first by a Thai monarch since diplomatic relations were established In 1975.

The visit, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral ties, said Mao Ning, spokesperson at the foreign ministry, at a regular news briefing.
