Lula invites Trump to partner on Brazil’s rare earths
Footage from Brazil’s Canal Gov shows President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva saying the country is open to international partnerships to develop its rare earths and critical minerals, while maintaining full control over its resources.
Speaking at an event in Campinas, Lula highlighted that Brazil has only explored a fraction of its mineral potential and called for greater investment in research and development. He also pointed to growing global competition over strategic minerals, saying Brazil is willing to work with any country, including the United States, as long as investments benefit production within Brazil.
