Trump: Iran war an investment in future generations
US President Donald Trump said military action against Iran was a “true investment” in future generations during a hastily prepared address from the White House on Wednesday, April 1, as the conflict entered its fifth week.
Trump told the US and global audience that Iran was no longer a dominant force in the Middle East following the strikes.
"They were the bully of the Middle East, but they're the bully no longer. This is a true investment in your children and your grandchildren's future. The whole world is watching, and they can't believe the power, strength, and brilliance," he said.
