Ukraine's Zelenskiy notes signs of 'slowdown' in Russian military plans, industry
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Thursday that Ukraine was receiving signals that Russia's military planning and activity were slowing.
Zelenskiy, in his nightly video address, said this was noted in a report issued by the HUR military intelligence directorate.
"There was a separate report from the HUR," Zelenskiy said. "The enemy's plans, the work of the Russian defence (industry). There are signals indicating a slowdown. We will continue to support their slowdown."

Zelenskiy did not elaborate.
It was not immediately clear whether the president was referring specifically to the Russian defence industry or to Russian tactics and objectives in a broader sense.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian military, in its evening report, gave no indication of any letup in Russian attacks and movement along the 1,000-km (600-mile) front.
It said at least 30 Russian attacks had been repelled near Avdiivka and a further 11 around nearby Maryinka -- two of the hottest points on the frontline in eastern Ukraine -- with a further seven outside Bakhmut.
The commander of Ukraine's forces in the Tavria, or southern zone, Alexander Tarnavskyi noted intensified Russian shelling in a report issued on Wednesday.
