Leading the American delegation is Phil Gordon, the national security adviser to U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris.
Gordon, who recently accompanied Vice President Harris to Dubai for meetings with Arab leaders over the weekend, will be joined by Ilon Goldenberg, Harris's Middle East advisor, and other officials.
Israeli sources reveal that the U.S. delegation is scheduled to meet with key figures including Tzachi Hanegbi, the head of Israel's National Security Council, Ron Dermer, the Minister of Strategic Affairs, and Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority, in the West Bank.
While Israel has shown limited interest in formulating post-war plans for Gaza, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu staunchly opposing the return of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) to govern the region, the United States is reportedly advocating for the presence of an international force to assist in the interim administration of Gaza.
