Venezuela moves to reform oil law to boost production: Video
Venezuela's National Assembly approved in its first reading a partial reform of the Organic Hydrocarbons Law, a measure that seeks to accelerate oil production and facilitate the sale of crude oil within the framework of agreements with the United States.
The bill, championed by interim president Delcy Rodríguez, was approved Thursday in Caracas with what lawmakers described as a qualified majority.
