Mexico extradites two suspected former cartel leaders to US, says Texas sheriff's office

Mexico extradited two suspected former leaders of the violent Los Zetas cartel to the United States on Thursday, according to a Facebook post by the Webb County Sheriff's office in Texas.

Miguel Angel and Oscar Omar Trevino-Morales, both suspected high-ranking members of the cartel, were extradited, the sheriff's office said while urging the public to be cautious of a violent response from the cartel in the Mexican city of Nuevo Laredo, south of the border from Laredo, Texas.
