Munich car ramming treated as murder attempt, prosecutors say
German prosecutors are treating the case of a man who drove a car into a crowd in Munich on Thursday as a murder attempt, the prosecutor's office and the police said in a joint statement on Friday.
At least 36 people were injured, some of them seriously, as a result of the incident, according to the statement.
