The Russian president meets his old schoolteacher and takes her to a private dinner at the Kremlin.
Vladimir Putin personally visited a hotel in Moscow to pick up his former schoolteacher, Vera Gurevich, before accompanying her to dinner at the Kremlin. Footage showed a warm reunion, with Putin greeting her with flowers as she arrived in the city at his invitation to attend Victory Day events and a cultural programme. During the visit, the president also briefly interacted with tourists from southern Russia staying at the hotel, asking about their trip to the capital.
