Tunisian Minister of Trade and Export Development, Kalthoum Ben Rejeb, has assured businessmen and economic stakeholders that the state will provide the necessary support as well as a business-friendly environment towards the creation of wealth and development of the country. Rape allegations
The defender of Moroccan national team, Achraf Hakimi has confronted a woman who accused him of rape. This comes days before a crucial match for Paris Saint-Germain which he also plays for. Tunisian media Babnet has reported that the country has paid for approximately 93% of its external debt service as of November 2023. According to the report, this was confirmed by the Minister of Finance Siham Namsia on December 6 during a plenary session in the House of People’s Representatives. The Minister considers this a great feat considering the country’s past financial status with regard to public finances and external factors.
World Bank development goals
The World Bank has reiterated its commitment towards contributing to development in Tunisia. During a working session at the government palace in Kasbah chaired by the head of government, World Bank Vice President Ferid Belhaj pledged continuous support to Tunisia in the implementation of its development and reform programs. The World Bank intends to improve agriculture and the energy sector as well as protection of the disadvantaged classes in Tunisia, Business News.
