Three dead, one injured following shooting at Northern Ireland home, police say
Three people died and and one other person from the same household remains in a serious condition after a shooting incident in the Northern Ireland county of Fermanagh, police said on Wednesday.
Police have opened a murder investigation and are working to determine the circumstances after the four people sustained gunshot wounds at a house in the small village of Maguiresbridge, located around 25 kilometres from the border with the Republic of Ireland.
"This is a quiet, rural location and I am aware that this tragic event will have sent waves of sadness throughout the community," Police Service of Northern Ireland Superintendent Robert McGowan said in a statement.
