The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of equipment and services related to sustainment support for M1A2 Abrams main battle tank systems to Kuwait for an estimated $325 million, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.

The principal contractor for the sales is General Dynamics, the Pentagon said in a statement.
