Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has spoken out against U.S. President Donald Trump's heavy use of social media, claiming he’s trying to “govern the world” through platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Truth Social.

Speaking at a housing handover event in Rio Grande on January 20, Lula said there’s a need to bring back more human interaction in society, especially online.
