Supporters of former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro gathered on Sunday, January 25, along São Paulo’s Paulista Avenue, staging a demonstration calling for amnesty measures and the transfer of those convicted to house arrest.
The rally took place outside the headquarters of the São Paulo state industry federation (Fiesp) and coincided with the city’s 472nd anniversary, drawing Bolsonaro backers who did not travel to Brasília for parallel protests.
